Art Festival!!!

Come and visit me in Buena Park November 29, 30, December 1, 2, and 3!
I'll have a booth at the SugarPlum Art and Craft Festival, located inside the Buena Park Mall.
There will be tons of fantastic items for Christmas, ornaments, gifts, decor, and more!!!
I'll have many hand made stained glass ornaments, candle holders, sun catchers, and much more!
Many of us create our pieces completely by hand. You can usually tell because we like to be present in our booths, meet our customers, answer questions, talk about the creative process, or simply help you choose the perfect gift! Some of us accept custom orders, just ask!
Hope to see you there:

New Items Coming Your Way!

Yes! I now offer my glass birds as stand-alone pieces! These look so cute in a group of 3 or more! Pretty on a windowsill with the sun shining through the glass, showing off the beautiful colors.
As you may know, I have made these birds as hanging pieces for many years. On hangers with flowers; alone with cute little beaded hangers and bead 'feet'.

Here's another of the larger multi-design candle holders, featuring a new design on each side. This one is created using ruby red glass, and amber wispy glass. Designs mimic views of the sun.

I've currently been working on building up my stock of original business card holders and other office storage pieces. These are truly one-of-a-kind pieces, created from an idea that usually comes about when I buy a particular piece of glass.
More new items! Pen Holder and Business Card Holder are in stock and ready to ship to your home or office. The item to the far right of the photo below is a paper clip holder I designed for my husband. He also has the matching business card holder along side this on his desk.

Keeping It Real

So i think that you all know just how much I enjoy doing what I do, how could I not? I've always been a creative person, so I'm fortunate to be able to make some money creating. I do wish I had more time to spend on the process though, as there are an infinite number of other duties I must take care of along the way, on a daily basis too may I add?
I've been spending a Lot of time this week reorganizing my workspace, my storage system,  and also have been taking new photographs of some of my items. I think these photos do more justice to some of the pieces than some of the old photos did, so the next step is adding the new photos to my listings on Etsy! Shown here are some of my Wind Chimes and Wind Spinner Sun Catchers!

Soft Blue Silvercoat Waterglass Vase

This photo shows a couple of vases that I made and sold in the past. Actually several years ago to be exact! I have an order for another vase that is the color on the left and the shape of the vase on the right. I always include a glass bud vase inside so that the water won't sit directly inside my stained glass vases. I used to silicone them inside as waterproofing, but then decided against it. After all, this is a piece of decorative and useful art, and I want to be certain it will be used forever!
The glass is a Silvercoat Waterglass, meaning it has the beauty of waterglass and the reflective quality of a mirror. Looks stunning near a window or other light source where it reflects the light and objects around it!

Keeping Busy

Great way to start the year, keeping busy with my orders!
This is one of my favorite new pieces with the soft minty green glass and silver filigree accents. I sold one on Etsy last month and now have an order for another, same color, but slightly wider to fit larger business cards. Loving the custom orders! I currently have 5 orders for business card holders, 2 for chimes, one large order for Christmas ornaments (yes), and another for a long hanging heart suncatcher that is a sympathy gift.
Thanks to all my customers!

Today is My Birthday!

I've been busy busy busy, preparing for the Sawdust Festival!

http://sawdustartfestival.org/winter-fantasy-2/

I have a ready-made booth this year, but we will be doing some construction on it to create display space for all of my glass pieces! Right now there are 3 tall walls and a roof, a small counter space with built-in seat, and a pretty decent sized storage area.

We will add a partial wall in the front right corner, shelves on one or two walls, and more storage up above for my bubble wrap and other packaging, as well as more glass. I simply won't have space to display everything at once, as I am also going to be showing my oils this year and need a good amount of wall space for those.

Check back for photos of the process!

Aqua, Sky Blue, Turquoise, Smoky Blue!

I have just completed 2 brand new candle holders today and want to share them. I'm planning on listing one, and will give one as a gift (I can't say why as it's a secret and that person may see them and know it's for them!).

I haven't yet decided which to give as a gift so please feel free to give me your opinion.

They look quite similar but actually have a few different features. Look closely and you will see!

Thanks for checking in, more tomorrow! I am getting very sleepy, did a 5.9 mile run this morning followed by cooking, laundry, working on glass, a trip to the zoo with my husband and grandson, more laundry, and then had to package up some items, and get them to the Post Office so they'll go out first thing in the morning. I use the after hours drop quite often! Alrighty, nighty now!
